My sweet journey begins...

So I have decided to go for it, put myself out there, creating delish cakes for not only immediate family, but friends and others alike. I have always loved baking, I fondly remember helping my nanny in the kitchen while she whipped up her fluffy strawberry shortcake, or yummy apple pies (the best I've had to date). I really started to get creative with baking once I had my first born Tanner. I have been making special cakes for him and his brother Rowan every year for their birthdays, trying my best to make dirt bike tracks, and sponge bobs. Now I want to challenge myself a little, I have asked my friends and family to come to me with their cake needs, tell me what the want, I will try to give them a close rendition of what they ask for. So I will chronicle my efforts along with pictures, from the beginning.  These are some of my first attempts  over the years.
